Curran Foods

Curran Foods Ltd is one of the largest independent wholesale food distributors of ambient, chilled, frozen and non-food goods in the South of Ireland. It was established as Pat Curran Frozen Foods Ltd in March 1962.by Pat and Nora Curran. The company then moved to Waterford City under the stewardship of Managing Director Gerard Curran in 1988. In 2019, Gerard’s daughter Gillian Lenihan and her husband Alan (now MD) took over leadership of the company.

Through ongoing investment, responsiveness to consumer tastes, and two-way customer loyalty, our family company has grown from humble beginnings into one of the largest independent food wholesalers to the retail sector and hotel, restaurant and catering operators in the South of Ireland.
